YVEC is offering rebates on qualifying energy efficient Energy Star rated Dishwashers, Refrigerators, and Washing Machines.  Energy Star rated equipment must meet efficiency guidelines set by the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in order to receive the Energy Star rating.  Energy Star rated products use less energy (and water for washing machines and dishwashers) than similar products that do not carry the Energy Star label, which results in a savings to the consumer on their utility bills.  When looking for new products for your home, always look for the Energy Star label.  For more information about Energy Star, visit their website at www.energystar.gov.  

 

YVEC offers a rebate of $25.00 on Energy Star dishwasher and refrigerators, and $50.00 on Energy Star washing machines.  To qualify, the appliances must be Energy Star rated, connected to YVEC service, and the member must provide proof of purchase.  A list of qualifying models can be found on the energy star website.
